A new mix!

So, it's been a long time since I've done anything related to DJing or music. I've really been lacking the time, inspiration and space that I need to feel free to sit down and just play around as I like.

I'm in Sweden at the moment for unfortunate reasons but in making the best of a bad situation I have been taking the time to rest as much as possible, enjoy the scenery, and just relax when possible.

Cue someone who I follow on Twitter then, gushing ever so slightly over a remix of Lady Gaga's Alejandro. I took the time to hunt it down and found myself inspired to produce a poppy house mix. And lo, "The House That Pop Built" was born.

It's poppier than I ordinarily play (but I have been badgered for quite a while by some friends to do something more accessible to them), and I had to do it all sequenced as I don't have any of my hardware - not even a decent set of headphones - with me. But for all of that.. I actually quite enjoyed working on it and listening to it in the hire car. Perhaps it's my new guilty pleasure in life.

Check out my mixes page where you can find the Let's Mix embedded player, and a link to download the set.

The site's not quite done yet - it'll be ready when it's ready.

In the meantime, look here for mixes.
